Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Lurinth, Inc. ("LootPup", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the LootPup website, web app, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes, and related services (together, the "Service"). You accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Rewards Terms (which are part of these Terms) by ticking the acceptance box when you create your account. We record the version you accepted, when, and from where. Accepting the Terms is not consent to marketing messages; that is a separate, optional choice.
1. Who can use LootPup
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your province or state, if higher) and a resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec).
- You may hold only one account. Creating or controlling multiple accounts is a breach of these Terms.
- You must not be a person or in a location where use of the Service is prohibited by law.
2. Your account
An account is created when you add the LootPup card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or sign in with Apple or Google. The link and QR code on your Wallet card provide access to your account, so treat your card like a key: anyone with your unlocked phone or a copy of the link can open your account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. To protect your balance we ask you to link an Apple or Google sign-in. It is required before you can start offers or surveys and before any cash out.
You must provide accurate information (including a valid payout destination) and keep it current. We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information.
3. Earning rewards
LootPup displays offers and surveys from third-party networks and advertisers ("Partners"). Completing an offer according to its stated requirements, as verified by the Partner, credits your LootPup balance in accordance with the Rewards Terms. Credits move through three stages: pending (confirmed by the Partner but still inside the period in which the Partner may reverse it), available (the hold period has passed and the amount can be withdrawn), and withdrawn. Hold periods depend on the Partner, the offer type and your account history, and are shown in the app. LootPup does not control whether a Partner verifies a completion. Balances are promotional credits with no cash value until a cash out is approved and paid; they are not a deposit, bank account, or currency, and they do not earn interest.
No earnings guarantee. Offer availability and reward amounts change constantly. Nothing on the Service, and nothing published by anyone promoting the Service, is a promise or estimate of how much you will earn.
3a. Surveys
Surveys are run by survey Partners on behalf of researchers. To match you with surveys you qualify for, we ask a few optional profile questions (year of birth, gender and postal code) and, with your consent, share the answers with our survey Partners (see the Privacy Policy). Partners may ask their own screening questions before or inside a survey. You agree to answer truthfully and consistently. Being screened out, a survey closing because its quota is full, or a response rejected by the Partner's quality checks (for example for speeding, inconsistent answers or straight-lining) does not earn a reward unless the app says otherwise. Partners may remove you from their surveys for poor-quality or fraudulent responses, and that decision is theirs.
3b. Reversals
Partners and advertisers may reverse a completion after it has been credited — for example when a free trial is cancelled, a purchase is refunded, or a completion is later found to be invalid, duplicated or fraudulent. When a Partner reverses a completion, the matching reward is reversed on your LootPup balance. Partners may do this for up to 90 days after a completion occurs or is discovered. If the amount has already been withdrawn, your balance becomes negative and is offset against future earnings, and we may recover the amount by other lawful means where the reversal results from your breach of these Terms.
4. Cash outs
You may request a cash out of your available balance subject to the minimum and maximum amounts shown in the app. Requests are reviewed manually. We may delay, reduce, or decline a cash out where we reasonably believe activity on the account breaches these Terms, is fraudulent, or is subject to reversal by a Partner. Approved cash outs are delivered to the destination you provide; we are not responsible for payments sent to an incorrect destination you supplied.
5. Fair play
Partners only pay for real, first-time users, so LootPup checks every device before showing offers and before every cash out. You agree to follow these rules. You must not:
- Hide or fake your location: no VPNs, proxies, iCloud Private Relay or similar services, and no use from outside the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec);
- Use anything other than your own real phone: LootPup works on phones only, not computers, and you must not use emulators, virtual machines, Linux, rooted or jailbroken devices, device-ID changers or spoofing tools;
- Cheat or automate: no cheat or modding software, bots, scripts, auto-clickers, or generative AI or other automated tools to play games, answer surveys, complete offers or get around an offer's tracking;
- Hold more than one account: one account per person and per device, no sharing accounts, and no completing offers for or with someone else's account;
- Repeat installs: only start an offer for an app you have never installed before, on any device, and complete offers that require a new user as a genuinely new user;
- Misrepresent yourself: give truthful information, including in surveys and your survey profile, and use only a payout destination you control;
- Break an offer's own terms and conditions, or interfere with, reverse engineer, scrape or overload the Service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
Tracking. Offers are credited only when the Partner can track your install and progress. Before you start an offer the app asks you to confirm it is your first time playing and to allow tracking. If you block tracking (for example by denying tracking when the game asks, using an ad blocker, or clearing the app's data), the Partner may be unable to verify the completion, and we cannot credit it.
Device checks. If our checks or a Partner's checks detect any of the above, offers and cash outs are blocked on that device and the app tells you why.
Violations may result in forfeiture of your balance, reversal of paid rewards to the extent permitted by law, and permanent closure of your account. We terminate accounts for multi-accounting (creating or controlling more than one account, including through friends, family or shared payout destinations), self-referral, and fraud, including completions that a Partner or our own checks determine to be invalid.
6. Third-party services
Offers and surveys are provided by Partners (currently ayeT-Studios and TheoremReach) under their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use their offers or surveys. When you start an offer you may be directed to a Partner's or advertiser's app, app store page or site, and information needed to show, track and verify offers is shared with that Partner (see the Privacy Policy). Partners decide which offers you see based on your country, device and profile, verify completions using their own tracking and fraud checks, and may decline or reverse completions under their own rules. LootPup is not responsible for Partner or advertiser content, apps, or conduct, and in-app purchases you make in an advertiser's app are between you and that advertiser.
7. Taxes
You are responsible for any taxes on rewards you receive. Where required by law we may request taxpayer information and issue tax forms, and we may withhold cash outs until requested information is provided.
8. Changes, dormant accounts and termination
We may change the Service, offers, payout methods, limits, or these Terms at any time. Each change mints a new version of these Terms with a new date; we will ask you to accept material changes before you continue, and your consent record keeps pointing at the version you accepted. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@lootpup.com; any balance below the cash out minimum, or subject to an unresolved investigation, is forfeited on closure.
Dormant accounts. An account with no sign-in or earning activity for 12 consecutive months is dormant. We will email the address on file with 30 days' notice, after which any remaining balance expires and the account may be closed.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, on a Partner's request relating to fraud, or if we discontinue the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that offers will be available, that completions will be verified by Partners, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Earnings are not guaranteed.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lurinth, Inc. and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount of your approved but unpaid cash outs or (b) US $50.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lurinth, Inc. from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
12. Disputes, governing law, arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and LootPup each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration clause by emailing support@lootpup.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
13. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and LootPup about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
